How Does the Hydraulic Power Work?

Ying Shih Guest House has the first and the only 360° revolving restaurant in the country rotated by circulating water.

A. Hydrodynamic Principle

i、The thrust of the moving water can be made to turn a bladed wheel to slowly revolve like a horizontal water wheel
ii、 Thrust balancing is formed by the consecutive flow of incoming water and water drain
iii、Using gravity as an axle center

B. Speed Control

Using the flume to control the water flow to the wheel in order to adjust the speed.

C. Balance Control

The balance of restaurant is made by the consecutive, stable flow of water in and out of a system.
